MEYER'S U.S. OFFICE ADDS NEW SERVICES, STAFF TO TECHNICAL SUPPORT DEPARTMENT
AutoCAD Station and Expanded Array TechNotes Provide Dealers
and Consultants with Advanced Factory Assistance

Meyer Sound is adding brand-new computer equipment and services to its Technical Support Department. The new systems are supported by an expanded staff that includes the recent appointments of John Monitto to Technical Support Manager, Todd Meier to Technical Support/CAD Engineer and Dave Dennison to Sound System Design Consultant.

That's why we've invested so much time and money into expanding our technical services with advanced computer systems and a larger staff," said John Monitto. ABOUT THE NEW STAFF
John Monitto, Tech Support Manager

John Monitto brings extensive experience in audio engineering for international touring, and corporate events. For the last eleven years, John worked for Pro Media, where he was Show Engineer for live musical events such as Placido Domingo, the San Francisco Symphony, and the National Football League; Systems Engineer for Luciano Pavarotti's tours throughout USA, Canada, Mexico and South America; and Live Audio Engineer and Designer for corporate events produced by IBM, Apple Computer, Clorox, and Motorola. As a certified engineer, John has used SIM® for over 50 shows and installations.

Todd Meier, Technical Support/CAD Engineer
Todd Meier's responsibilities include running the AutoCAD system and building a library of Meyer products in 3D form. Todd has a strong background in system installation design, especially in the field of theatrical applications. Most recently he worked with award-winning sound designer, Jonathan Deans, at Real Time Audio. In association with Level Control Systems, Todd completed projects such as the Rio Casino's new Show in the Sky parade in Las Vegas; Walt Disney's production of Beauty and the Beast in Toronto and for the US National Tour; and also the world premiere of Ragtime the Musical. Todd received a Master of Fine Arts in Sound Design from UCLA, and is a certified SIM engineer.

Dave Dennison, Sound System Design Consultant
Dave Dennison is in charge of taking incoming venue blueprints, and designing complementary speaker arrays for each client. Currently he is working on the newest round of TechNotes. A live and studio engineer by trade, Dave has accumulated over 15 years of sound mixing experience. While working with Jerry Garcia in 1991, Dave recorded the Grammy Award-winning album "Garcia/Grisman" with Garcia and mandolinist, David Grisman. He toured as Audio Engineer with Mickey Hart's "Planet Drum" orchestra, and the Gyuto Monks Tantric Choir. Dave has over 16 albums to his credit, and is a certified SIM engineer.
