Meyer Sound Laboratories, now celebrating
25 years as the premier manufacturer of sound reinforcement
loudspeakers, will have a major presence on booth 345 at
InfoComm in Atlanta, Ga., highlighted by new products, a
host of educational presentations — including a seminar
on line array technology by John Meyer — and a giveaway
of the brand new SIM 3 audio analyzer system. The SIM 3 audio
analyzer is the latest generation of Meyer Sound’s
award-winning, breakthrough source independent measurement
tools.
One lucky attendee will win a new SIM 3 audio
analyzer
system — a $13,000 value — as well as free attendance
at one of Meyer Sound’s
SIM 3 training seminars. To enter it is only necessary to
attend any of the presentations on the Meyer Sound booth
and fill out an entry form. You need not be present at the
drawing on the show’s last day to win.
Meyer Sound will have a large educational
presence at InfoComm, including on-booth presentations, a
manufacturer’s training session on the SIM 3 system,
an InfoComm seminar on line array technology presented by
John Meyer, as well as two presentations at the Lighting
and Staging Pavilion on the show floor. A detailed schedule
is below.
Meyer Sound loudspeakers’ uncompromised
performance, ease of installation and operation, durability
and excellent value established them long ago as a top choice
for touring sound systems, as well a favorite of sound system
designers and contractors for use in venues of all types.
On display at the Meyer Sound booth will be
a broad selection of line array and other loudspeakers, including
the M1D ultra-compact, M2D compact and MILO high-power curvilinear
array loudspeakers; UPJ-1P compact VariO and UPM-1P ultra-compact
wide coverage loudspeakers; M1D-Sub ultra-compact subwoofer;
and MM-4 miniature wide-range loudspeaker.
InfoComm marks the first American showing
of the new 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofer, which sets a
new standard for the power-to-size equation. The 700-HP subwoofer's
power and bandwidth handle high continuous operating levels
and extreme transient information with minimal distortion
in its operating frequency range. Suitable for touring or
fixed install applications, the 700-HP can be stacked or
flown with optional rigging.
Meyer Sound supports its products with a variety
of tools that will also be shown on the booth: the SIM 3
system, Meyer Sound MAPP Online acoustical prediction software,
the RMS remote monitoring system, and the company’s
patented QuickFly rigging.
