Bahia Brazil Night

Last night was Bahia Brazil night in the Stravinski Auditorium. Never mind the fact that it was a Sunday night concert - the venue was packed! A veritable fiesta of song and dance, the evening featured Daniela Mercury e Grupo, Elba Ramalho e Grupo and Terry Samba. The Latino rhythms brought the audience to their feet almost immediately. The FOH position, situated on a raised platform, was bouncing up and down to the beat - making it very challenging for the lead engineer to make careful adjustments on the board.

The Stravinski system is comprised of 2-MSL-6s, 3-MSL-4s, 3-CQ-2s and 4-PSW-6s situated on the stage left and right. Two CQ-2s are also arrayed above the stage for centerfill. The talented and jubilant Brazilian artists drove the system hard, but the reinforced sound quality from the Meyer Sound Self-Powered Loudspeaker Systems were never compromised.
