Meyer Sound Mexico Expands Into Monterrey

Monterrey, Mexico-- On August 19, 1998, Meyer Sound Mexico opened its new office in Monterrey with a celebratory party for over 600 band members, production managers, disco and club owners.

"We want the bands in the region to know we're here. We've got our new office in Monterrey, and a full service center and school in Mexico City. Meyer is absolutely committed to our clients in Mexico," said Scott Gledhill, Meyer Sound Mexico's General Manager.

Gledhill went on to say business had grown considerably since Meyer opened its Mexico service center two years ago. "Not many businesses have come here with the presence we have. It allows us to immediately respond to the needs of our customers."

Produced in conjunction with Meyer's Monterrey dealer, Troya Eventos y Producciones, the party featured three stages and a DVD 5.1 demo.

The main stage rig consisted of 16 MSL-4s, 12 650-Ps, 8 UM-100Ps, and 2 CQ-1s.

Stage two used 8 MSL-4s, 6 650-Ps, 2 UM-100Ps, and 8 UPA-1Ps. Sidefills were comprised of 2 MSL-4s and 2 PSW-2s.
