Joy Music Veranstaltungstechnik announced that the group Acoustica will be performing a series of five holiday shows throughout Germany, including the cities of Hallesalle, Dormagen and Erfurt. The group is best known for their humorous and unique music stylings.

"The UPA's are the best system for us," said Fritjof Rîdel of Acoustica. "They are very small and easy to use; a real plug & play system."

Powering the group's performances will be a complete self-powered Meyer Sound system of 6 UPA-2P's - stacked three over three, along with 6 USW-1P's. A host of 4 UPA-2P stage monitors will also be integrated into the system design.

"It`s so easy to get a fine soundmix using Meyer Sound equipment," said Hans-Joachim Guenther of Joy Music Veranstaltungstechnik. "We use the Meyer Sound Ultra Series because of their super handling and high SPL output that doesn't compromise the sound clarity."

Guenther also mentioned that by utilizing the Meyer Sound equipment that a considerable amount of truck space will be saved while on tour.

In addition to Guenther, sound and lighting designer, Karl-Heinz SchÅller, sound engineer, and Martin Renius, lighting technician, will assist in the technical aspects of the holiday concerts.
