Pavarotti in Buenos Aires 1999

On Friday, April 23, a sizable crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the famous tenor, Pavarotti, in concert with the equally talented Argentinean Folk singer, Mercedes Sosa. The one-night event, held at Boca Juniors Stadium in Buenos Aires, featured a Self-Powered Meyer Sound Loudspeaker System configured by Sound Designer, Alexander Yuill-Thornton III of Solstice.

Included in Thornton's audio configuration were a host of MSL-6s, MSL-4s and PSW-6 Self-Powered Loudspeaker Systems arrayed to enhance the overall vocal intelligibility of the evening's performers. Providing the Meyer Sound equipment for the vocals and vibrant music of the night was Gabisom of Brazil.
