Five-Day Series of SIM Seminars at R.S.T.V.'s facilities San Jose, Costa Rica 1999
Meyer Sound recently held a five-day series of seminars at R.S.T.V.'s facilities in San Jose, Costa Rica which began on Monday, April 26. The seminars focused on providing training to support employees at Abba Trading as well as clients and end users of R.S.T.V. The training covered a series of educational hands-on sessions with Meyer Sound Self-Powered Series products, SIM System II and portion's of Bob's Book. "It was very useful for me, because it cleared many concepts that I had not understood completely or had misunderstood," said Mauricio Wedel of R.S.T.V. "The knowledge that I acquired is a great help in improving our Meyer System's efficiency. Practical demonstrations are the best way to teach these topics." Equipment displayed at the seminar included SIM System II, the SB-1 Parabolic Sound Beam, the MSL-4, the 650-P, the UM-1P and the LD-1A Line Driver. "The audience members were surprised with the quality and depth of the information," said Mauricio Ramirez, Meyer Sound Mexico's training director. "Generally misunderstood concepts like phase and polarity surprised everyone. Also, issues such as comb filtering, coverage and beam width, arrayability, distortion, SPL and the Self-Powered Series helped to change their way of thinking."
