Meyer Sound will showcase its line of self-powered loudspeakers by presenting live entertainment through a system built around MILO high-power curvilinear arrays on Stage A at ET Live, an adjunct to The Entertainment Technology Show/LDI. ET Live takes place at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., on October 22 (12 PM - 9 PM) and 23 (12 PM – 10:15 PM).

ET Live, held just behind the convention hall adjacent to the Imperial Palace in the East Pavilion, presents attendees with the rare opportunity to compare products from several manufacturers of performance equipment in use on actual stages. At last year's event, those who listened to the side-by-side comparisons of sound systems from major manufacturers left with MILO on their minds after the Meyer Sound system made a powerful impression with its clarity, power, intelligibility and sweet high end response.

This year's FOH system will include 24 MILO cabinets, 4 of the new MILO 120 expanded coverage high-power curvilinear array loudspeakers for downfill, six UPJ-1P compact VariO loudspeakers for frontfill, and 18 brawny 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofers. The monitor system will be constituted of six UM-1P narrow coverage stage monitors and two MTS-4A full-range main loudspeakers for sidefill. An LD-3 compensating line amplifier will keep the sound of the whole system consistent as environmental conditions change over the course of the day.

Other equipment on the Meyer Sound stage will be provided by co-sponsors DiGiCo, who will supply a D-1 digital mixing system with digital snake system, Lighthouse with their LVP1650 LED screen, and Kleege Industries, who will bring staging and truss hardware.

Meyer Sound MAPP Online acoustical prediction software and the RMS remote monitoring system also will be on display near the stage.

As with last year's show, singer-songwriter Teresa, named College Entertainer of the Year an unprecedented six times, will play live to demonstrate how the Meyer Sound system works under actual performance conditions. Meyer Sound Sales Managers Sandy Macdonald and Jim Sides will provide Teresa with accompaniment on Hammond B3 organ and percussion, respectively, for some songs.

This time, there's no need to depend on words alone: come to Stage A and hear for yourself the difference a Meyer Sound self-powered system makes.
