MILO Receives 2004 MIPA Award
Frankfurt Musikmesse/Pro Light + Sound is arguably the world's largest trade show for musical and audio products, filling eight halls in Frankfurt's sprawling Messe exhibition complex. Fifty-eight magazines from all over the world get together at the show and, out of the huge selection of products represented, vote on their picks for best products of the year in a variety of categories. This year, the magazines decided that the MILO high-power curvilinear array was their top pick for Large Format PA System and presented Meyer Sound with a 2004 Musikmesse International Press Award (MIPA). "To be singled out at such a huge gathering of products and companies from around the world is gratifying," said Meyer Sound Director of Marketing Tim Chapman. "Every company likes to believe their products stand out, but to be raised above the crowd like this feels like a real accomplishment." Meyer Sound exhibited MILO in conjunction with the launch of the new 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofer and the SIM 3 audio analyzer on their booth in the Pro Light + Sound area of the Messe.
