Stand K2
At Entech 2008 (February 11 – 13) in Sydney, Australia, Meyer Sound will highlight a range of innovative self-powered loudspeaker systems that combine compact dimensions with extraordinary power and clarity. Visitors of the booth can also witness some of the industry's most powerful and robust software tools for creating high-performance audio systems.

MM-4XP
Self-Powered
Miniature Loudspeaker
Making its Australian debut is the new MM-4XP miniature loudspeaker, the self-powered version of the acclaimed MM-4 wide-range miniature loudspeaker. An ideal solution for installations involving space and visibility concerns, the MM-4XP produces a peak output of 113 dB SPL from a lightweight enclosure (less than 2 kg) with a faceplate measuring a mere four inches (10 cm) square.

The smallest member of Meyer Sound's MILO family, the M'elodie line array loudspeaker is also shown at Entech for the first time. Another potent performer of diminutive dimensions, M'elodie has been highly popular among houses of worship, theaters, performance halls and portable AV systems.

Other products on the Meyer Sound stand include the UPA-1P loudspeaker, one of the longest-lived products in the history of sound reinforcement and still sells in significant quantities today. Also shown are UPJ-1P and UPJunior VariO loudspeakers, both equipped with VariO rotatable horn for flexible cabinet orientation in any installation.

A hands-on demonstration area will allow visitors to sample Meyer Sound's highly accurate MAPP Online Pro acoustical prediction program, as well as the Galileo loudspeaker management system featuring Compass control software.

For Entech attendees venturing out and about in Sydney, Meyer Sound loudspeakers can be heard in action at a number of internationally known venues, including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Theatre Company, Sydney Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, City Recital Hall, CarriageWorks arts centre, and the "Transport" exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum. Meyer Sound products are also used in theatrical productions including Billy Elliot at Capitol Theatre.
