Gina Giachetti Joins Meyer Sound as Manager of Public Relations

Meyer Sound announced that Gina Giachetti has joined the company as its Manager of Public Relations. Giachetti is taking over media relations responsibilities from Susanna Corcoran, who will continue to work with Meyer Sound as a communications consultant on special projects.

Based at Meyer Sound's Berkeley, Calif., headquarters, Giachetti is responsible for creating even greater visibility for Meyer Sound in the professional audio, mainstream, and new media channels. As Meyer Sound continues to grow and its systems are deployed in numerous high-profile events and installations around the world, Giachetti believes there's an important opportunity to educate new audiences about Meyer Sound and the impact that its innovative technology is having on the industries and the people it touches.

Giachetti brings more than ten years of agency public relations experience to the job, working with clients such as Cisco, IBM, HP and Yahoo!. Prior to joining Meyer Sound, Giachetti served as an Account Director for Text 100 Public Relations, where she oversaw public relations strategies for several technology brands. Most recently she worked with Cisco to promote the use of its technology at the Churchill Downs racetrack and the Cleveland Zoo, as well as the growing use of video at work and home.
