Meyer Sound Spotlights New MM-4XP and more at ISE in Amsterdam
![]() MM-4XP Self-Powered Miniature Loudspeaker The MM-4XP loudspeaker is surprisingly dainty, yet produces peak output of 113 dB SPL across an operating frequency range of 120 Hz – 18 kHz. It is ideal for stage lip frontfill, fill and spot coverage, installation in steps and other hidden locations, as well as small portable systems. It can be custom painted to match specific color schemes. MM-4XP is the self-powered version of the highly popular MM-4 loudspeaker, which is installed in Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa which is also one of the most visited tourist attractions in Iceland. Not to be "overshadowed" by its miniature cousin, the UPJunior ultracompact VariO loudspeaker, UMS-1P ultracompact subwoofer, as well as the award-winning M'elodie ultracompact curvilinear array loudspeaker will also be featured on the Meyer Sound booth. Since its release, M'elodie has been installed in prestigious live performance venues around the world including Netherlands' Vrijthof Theatre, London's Royal Festival Hall, Denmark's Aarhus Theatre and Austria's Festung Kufstein. With Meyer Sound's ingeniously simple and flexible Quickfly rigging, M'elodie is also popular in corporate AV applications and has been used on sold-out tours with Metallica, Prince and Rod Stewart. ![]() Matrix3 Audio Show Control System All Meyer Sound products, including basic components such as drivers and circuit boards, are designed and manufactured at the company's facilities in Berkeley, Calif., USA.
