Lee Moro Joins Meyer Sound Nashville Office at Soundcheck
Meyer Sound announces that veteran engineer Lee Moro has joined the company as Nashville Operations and Touring Support. In his new position, Moro will work directly with Tour Liaison Manager Buford Jones at the Meyer Sound office in Nashville's Soundcheck, which is the country's largest full-production rehearsal facility and has been recently expanded. A native of Windsor, Ontario, Moro has spent most of the past five years as FOH engineer and production manager for Norah Jones, during which time he was the first engineer to work with Meyer Sound's acclaimed MILO line array loudspeaker system. In the two decades of his career, Moro has also worked with artists including Alannah Myles, Michael Buble, Blue Man Group, The Tragically Hip and Madeleine Peyroux. "Lee is one of the most innovative and respected engineers I know," remarks Jones. "In addition to his wealth of experience working with a wide range of artists and musical styles, Lee also has a real-world perspective and innate understanding of the day-to-day needs of our clients and colleagues in the world of live sound. We're pleased and excited to have him working with Meyer Sound." "Anyone who's worked with me knows I've always been a big fan of Meyer Sound's equipment and technology," says Moro. "I trust their products enough to have taken the untested MILO array out on a world tour with a Grammy-winning artist like Norah. I'd never hesitate to stand behind anything bearing the Meyer Sound name. It's a thrill and an honor to be working with the company." Moro can be reached at +1 615.244.2472 and via email at lmoro@meyersound.com. February, 2008 |
