Meyer Sound Launches New Cinema Experience, D-Mitri, and More at Prolight+Sound 2009

Celebrating the company's 30 years of innovation in professional audio, Meyer Sound will make its strongest Prolight+Sound presence to date, with product launches and announcements that will break new ground for the company and the audio market.
Heading up the attractions on the booth this year:
| | The newly launched Cinema Experience line of loudspeaker products, redefining how movies are experienced |
| | The announcement that Meyer Sound will release its loudspeaker measurement data in GLL format for use with the EASE design and simulation software |
| | Several new small-footprint loudspeakers and subwoofers that exhibit exceptional power-to-size ratios and the superior clarity and low-distortion signature of Meyer Sound loudspeakers, rounding out the company's installation product offerings |
| | The cutting-edge D-Mitri digital audio platform, which provides powerful signal processing and networked multichannel distribution, multichannel recording and playback, and audio show control automation |
| | A talk at the Meyer Sound stand with John and Helen Meyer at 15:30 on Thursday, April 2, followed by a cocktail reception at 16:00, in celebration of the company's 30th anniversary |
| | Panel discussions featuring sound rental companies sharing their experiences of growing their businesses by investing in Meyer Sound systems |
| | Presentations on high-profile Meyer Sound installations, the sophisticated Constellation electroacoustic architecture, and new product introductions |

Other products that will be shown include the award-winning MILO family of line array loudspeakers, highlighting the small-yet-potent M'elodie line array loudspeaker and the complementary 500-HP subwoofer, which recently started shipping. The compact but powerful UltraSeries products will also be displayed, featuring the two latest additions—the UPQ-1P wide coverage and UPQ-2P narrow coverage loudspeakers.
Also shown on the booth are the flexible digital products designed to complement Meyer Sound loudspeakers to create fully integrated audio systems. They include the MAPP Online Pro acoustical prediction program, Galileo loudspeaker management system, comprising the Galileo 616 processor or Galileo 616 AES processor and Compass control software, as well as the Matrix3 audio show control system.
