Now Showing: Major Tom and Meyer Sound in "THIS IS IT"

For two weeks beginning on October 28, Michael Jackson fans all over the globe will be able to enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the development and rehearsals behind his sold-out concerts that would have taken place this past summer at the O2 Arena in London with the release of the feature film "THIS IS IT." Drawn from more than one hundred hours of backstage footage, the film chronicles the months from April through June 2009. If you can take your eyes off the moonwalking, check out the Meyer Sound system used for the Los Angeles rehearsals and shown in the film, provided by UK-based Major Tom Ltd., including a main MILO line array system augmented by 700-HP and 500-HP subwoofers, UPA-1P loudspeakers and MJF-212A stage monitors. Major Tom and Meyer Sound were honored to have been a part of this landmark project, and salute the King of Pop for reminding us why we got into this business—to put on a great show.
