Meyer Sound has announced two upcoming sessions of its popular two-day audio seminar "Fundamentals of System Design, Implementation, and Optimization" in India. The first session will take place in Mumbai on August 9-10, followed by Bangalore on August 12-13. Registration is available on the Meyer Sound website: www.meyersound.com/events/seminars/calendar Conducted by Meyer Sound instructor Mauricio "Magu" Ramírez, the "Fundamentals of System Design, Implementation, and Optimization" is a comprehensive program designed to introduce attendees to the science and practice of sound system applications. Topics covered include line arrays, subwoofer configurations, and system optimization including equalization, delay, loudspeaker management, and measurement. Using the MAPP Online Pro acoustic prediction program, attendees are guided through a variety of design techniques that they can immediately apply to system configuration for different venues.
