| ||||
From March 12 – 21, when the South By Southwest music and media conference (SXSW) turns the city of Austin, Texas into an entertainment hotbed, Meyer Sound systems will power multiple stages with equipment support from Dallas-based Crossroads Audio and UK sound provider Capital Sound. On the British Music Embassy stage, more than 60 British musicians—Billy Bragg, 65daysofstatic, Band Of Skulls, Wave Machines, and Johnny Flynn—will perform using a powerful Meyer Sound system based on four JM-1P arrayable loudspeakers, 700-HP subwoofers, and UM-100P stage monitors. At the Levi's Fader Fort, where Kanye West made a surprise appearance last year, Crossroads will provide a MICA-based line array loudspeaker system with 700-HP subwoofers and UPJ-1P VariO loudspeakers. Red Bull THRe3Style will be powered by 12 MICA line array loudspeakers, UPQ-1P loudspeakers and 600-HP and 700-HP subwoofers.
