At InfoComm China in Beijing (April 13 – 15), Meyer Sound will showcase the networking advancements introduced in the new D-Mitri digital audio platform along with the MINA line array loudspeaker. Therdore Huang, technical support specialist at Meyer Sound, will give a presentation entitled, "AVB or IEEE 802.1 Audio Video Bridging (AVB): The Future of Standards-Based AV Networking" on Wednesday, April 14 at 14:00.

   Digital Audio Platform
A focal point of interest at the stand will be D-Mitri, a powerful digital audio platform based on the emerging AVB (Audio/Video Bridging) networking standards. D-Mitri is a high-performance (96 kHz/24-bit conversion with up to 64-bit floating point internal processing), fully integrated network that encompasses digital mixing and matrixing capabilities, sophisticated DSP functions, recording and playback, and integrated show control.

At this year's ISE show in Amsterdam, D-Mitri received the 2011 InAVation Award for the "Most InAVative Commercial Audio Product (Non-loudspeaker)."

D-Mitri can network directly with Meyer Sound's new family of AVB-capable CAL column array loudspeakers, all of which feature impeccable audio performance and proprietary DSP algorithms for accurate digital beam steering, beam splitting and beamwidth adjustment. A CAL 32 production unit will be shown at the stand.

The self-powered MINA loudspeaker will be displayed in conjunction with the companion 500-HP subwoofer. The smallest member of the MILO family, MINA packs robust output power into a petite package barely a half meter wide and weighing less than 19 kg. Also featured will be the MM-4XP, a four-inch-square installation loudspeaker that will be shown in a variety of custom colors.
