French-Canadian diva, Celine Dion, has recently belted her 1999 "Let's Talk About Love" concert to more than 20,000 fans at the Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong, using Meyer self-powered Loudspeakers. All equipment is supplied by Canadian-based rental company, Solotech, and will form the touring inventory for Dion's world concert.
A total of 18 Meyer Self-Powered Reinforcement MSL-6s, eight MSL-4s, 12 PSW-6s, 10 650-P subwoofers as well as 10 Parabolic Sound Beam SB-1 loudspeakers are employed for the concert.
Other Meyer loudspeakers used also include MSL-5s, CQ-2s, DS-2s, UPA-1As as well as UM-1s. All Meyer loudspeakers are RMS Remote Monitoring System - equipped. In addition, the sound system also include Meyer Complementary Phase Parametric CP-10 Equalisers, VX-1s as well as LD-1A Line Drivers.
As the official microphone sponsor, Sennheiser has supplied a total of 30 sets of SKM 3072U wireless microphones for the choir that accompanies Celine on her SKM 5000, as well as the 3050-U systems for In-ear monitoring.
The entire system is designed by Francois Desjardins and will be used for the concerts in Japan, and later in United Kingdom and Europe starting in May.
