Meyer has introduced a new L track rigging system, which is initially being offered as an option on both the MSL-4 and new DS-4P loudspeaker units. Several other loudspeaker models will integrate the L track in the future. The new rigging hardware reduces overall setup time, increases the level of safety and provides a wider degree of versatility when arraying the loudspeakers.

Quicker and Safer Installation
The L track, incorporated into both the front and back of the speaker cabinet design, adds a new dimension of flexibility to Meyer's existing ring / stud rigging system. The full length L Track design takes the pull stress out of the enclosure, allowing arrays to be hung deeper than before without the use of additional rigging hardware. Users can now manipulate the vertical splay in small increments and change the horizontal splay by adjusting arms on the top grid, even while the array is under load. The rigging design also provides its users with a safer method of installation since connections are now made on the front and back of the loudspeakers.
