| Meyer Sound's PSW-6
cardioid subwoofer was awarded the 1999 Technical Excellence and Creativity
(TEC) Award in a ceremony held at the Marriott Marquis in New York City
on the evening of Saturday, September 25. The award was for outstanding
technical achievement for sound reinforcement loudspeaker technology.
In past years Meyer Sound has had previous TEC Award nominations, including SIM® System II, which was honored with a TEC Award in 1986, and the HD-1, which won the TEC Award in 1990. The nominations, made by a panel composed of 200 audio industry professionals, are voted on annually by qualified subscribers via a ballot in the August issue of "Mix" magazine. |
