Networking and Control
The networking capabilities of Meyer Sound's D-Mitri digital audio platform make it the perfect front-end choice for handling the audio distribution requirements of any CAL installation. Smaller systems, or systems with more basic distribution demands, can benefit from the Galileo 616, 616AES or 408 loudspeaker management systems.
CAL and AVB
AVB is an extension on IEEE 802.1 Ethernet, the international open standard for networking. Designed to support real-time media networking, AVB delivers both control and high-resolution digital audio data with guaranteed Quality of Service over minimal cabling. CAL's AVB port provides optimal communications for AVB-capable systems such as Meyer Sound's D-Mitri.
