For the Sonisphere Festival in Amnéville, France this year, more than 70,000 hard-rock fans converged to see 20 bands, including top-billed Metallica and Slipknot, as well as Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, Dream Theater, Airbourne, and Mastodon.
