Housed in a compact enclosure with a faceplate merely four inches square, the
MM-4XP is ideally suited for high-performance installations where space is limited
and visibility is a concern. With its wide frequency response, ultralow distortion and
astonishing SPL-to-size ratio, the MM-4XP is a standout performer in both speech and
music applications. The integrated 220 W class D amplifier forcefully drives a 4-inch
cone transducer while peak and rms limiters regulate driver excursion to maintain
exemplary performance even when driven into overload. An optional U-bracket allows
mounting on walls and ceilings at adjustable angles. The MM-4XPV version includes a
volume control on the top panel. |

The MM-4XPD Directional Miniature Self-powered Loudspeaker provides a unique solution for highly reverberant spaces. The MM-4XPD is similar
to the MM-4XP in most respects, including the 4-inch driver, faceplate dimensions
and basic performance specifications. The slightly elongated enclosure incorporates
patent-pending technology to create a hypercardioid directional pattern with attenuation
in the order of 10 dB at the back of the loudspeaker, even at the lowest reproduced
frequencies. At higher frequencies the loudspeaker retains focused directionality. This
is achieved with a single driver, avoiding the complexity and costs associated with a
second driver with dedicated amplification and signal processing. |

UPJunior-XP features versatile rigging, an extraordinary power-to-size ratio, and a
VariO horn which allows quick rotation to provide an 80-degree by 50-degree coverage
pattern with either horizontal or vertical orientation. The low/mid-frequency section
employs an 8-inch neodymium magnet cone driver, while the high-frequency section
utilizes an efficient 0.75-inch exit, 2-inch diaphragm compression driver. The discreet
profile belies the system's power: it can produce a maximum peak output of 126 dB
SPL at one meter over its wide operating frequency range of 70 Hz to 20 kHz. A host
of mounting and arraying options make UPJunior-XP a versatile performer in a broad

The low-voltage version of the award-winning compact loudspeaker, the UPM-1XP is a
bi-amplified, three-way system capable of high sound pressure levels with low distortion
and uniform directional control. High-frequency reproduction is provided by a one-inch
metal dome driver, while low-mid range is handled by two five-inch cone transducers.
Both cone drivers work in parallel for low frequency power, with one rolling off above
320 Hz to maintain uniform directionality through the crossover region. The internal
electronics module includes a three-channel power amplifier (350 W total), frequencyand
phase-correction circuits, driver protection, and a laser-trimmed, differential input
stage for superior common-mode rejection.

The UP-4XP is ideal for applications requiring an inconspicuous cabinet that delivers
high sound pressure levels, low distortion, and uniform directional control. The high-frequency section includes a 1-inch metal dome tweeter on a 100-degree constant-directivity horn. The low/ mid-frequency section comprises two 4-inch cone transducers
that work in parallel at low frequencies — delivering a combined acoustic output — with
one of the drivers rolling off at higher frequencies to prevent interference in the crossover
region. The UP-4XP drivers, manufactured in-house by Meyer Sound, are powered by a
three-channel power amplification module (500 W total) that also incorporates an active
crossover, driver protection, and frequency and phase correction circuitry. An optional
adjustable MUB-UP4 U-bracket or MYA-UP4 cradle-style yoke can be used to facilitate overhead and wall mounting, and custom color options are available. |

The externally powered UMS-1XP is an extremely compact subwoofer that provides powerful low-frequency extension and is a
logical companion to the UPM-1XP ultracompact, wide coverage loudspeaker and UPJunior-XP ultracompact VariO™ loudspeaker.
For installations requiring even greater low-frequency output, multiple UMS-1XPs can be stacked.The UMS-1XP is loaded with
twin 10" cone drivers driven by a dual-channel Class-D amplifier with 450W of total peak power. The UMS-1XP offers a
choice of a 5-pin Phoenix connector or sealed 5-pin EN3 connector for receiving audio and DC power from an MPS-488HP external power supply.

Designed as a companion to MM-4XP and UP-4XP compact loudspeakers, the MM-10
subwoofer allows system designers to create full-range systems where space limitations
are a concern. The bass reflex cabinet houses a single 10-inch driver and a single-channel power amplifier complete with onboard processing, including a crossover,
driver protection, and frequency and phase correction. The built-in crossover accepts
full-range signals, facilitating basic daisy-chaining for signal distribution, eliminating the
need for external crossovers in small setups.
The MM-10XP includes either a 5-pin Phoenix connector or sealed 5-pin EN3 connector for receiving balanced audio and DC power from an MPS488 external power supply. In addition to the MM-10XP two other versions are offered. The MM-10AC and MM-10ACX subwoofer models which include internal power supplies, XLR-F audio inputs, and locking PowerCon connectors for AC input and looping output (for powering additional units). The MM-10AC also includes a male XLR output for daisy-chaining audio signals. |

MPS-488HP & MPS-481 : 48 V DC Power Supplies

The MPS-481 48 V DC power supply is designed for powering of a single MM-4XP loudspeaker (any version).
The MPS-488HPe 48 V DC power supply uses EN3 connectors; a single cable carries both audio and DC power.
The MPS-488HPp 48 V DC power supply uses Phoenix connectors.
The MPS-488HP 48 V DC power supply is designed for installations with multiple low-voltage 48V
loudspeakers. It receives eight channels of balanced audio from XLR-F inputs and
routes the audio, along with 48 V DC power, to the eight output channels. Output
connectors are either Phoenix 5-pin or Switchcraft EN3 5-pin. One MPS-488 can
power up to eight MM-4XP units (any version); or up to four UP-4XP or MM-10XP (one
loudspeaker every other channel) units; or equivalent combinations (e.g. six MM-4XP
and one MM-10). Available as a factory-installed option is the RMS™ remote monitoring system module,
which provides loudspeaker muting and monitoring of output voltage and load current parameters from
a Windows®-based computer. The MPS-481 can be used only with the MM-4XP family. |

RMS : Remote Monitoring System

RMS remote monitoring system is a real-time monitoring system that connects Meyer Sound self-powered speakers with a Microsoft
Windows-based computer at a convenient central location. RMS software delivers extensive status and system performance data
directly to the operator from every installed speaker. 48V DC loudspeakers can be integrated in RMS networks via the MPS-488HP
external supply (when equipped with the factory-installed RMS option). Up to eight loudspeakers can be connected to the MPS-488HP
with their voltage and DC current being monitored in the RMS software. Loudspeakers can also be muted and unmuted from the software.
The RMS monitor program interface is quickly learned, enabling comprehensive supervision of
complex sound systems by personnel at all levels. |

Stella-8C : 18V DC Ceiling Mount Installation Loudspeaker

Stella-8C is a self-powered, two-way loudspeaker designed for the utmost performance in ceiling-mount applications.
Incorporating an 8-inch cone and coaxial 0.75-inch HF driver, Stella-8C can produce high sound pressure levels while maintaining
extraordinarily flat frequency and phase response. Clarity, balance and tonal depth
far exceed what is possible from conventional 70V ceiling speakers. Housed in an aluminum die-case enclosure with integral heat
sink, Stella-8C can be flush-mounted in standard backboxes for 8-inch loudspeakers (minimum depth 6.5 inches).
18V DC power and balanced audio are supplied over a single cable, terminated by a 5-pole Phoenix connector.

Stella-4C : 18V DC Ceiling Mount Installation Loudspeaker

Stella-4C shares the same design as the larger Stella-8C, but in a smaller package for applications with reduced space and slightly lower power requirements.
Stella-188 Power Supply
The Stella-188 is a rack-mount 18V DC external power supply designed specifically for use with the Stella series of low-voltage self-powered loudspeakers.
One Stella-188 supplies power and balanced audio signal for up to eight Stella-8C or 16 Stella-4C loudspeakers.
Cable runs of up to 150 feet are possible (using AWG 18 wire) with negligible loss of peak SPL.
