Mouse Modes

There are four mouse modes ["Select", "Zoom", "Rotate", and "Architecture"]. You can activate them from the Tools menu, or from the buttons in the toolbar at the top of the application.

Select tool

Left-Click	Click	Select an object.
Left-Click blank area	Click blank area	Clears the selection set.
Shift-Left-Click	Shift-Click	Add an object to the selection set.
Left-Click blank area and Drag	Click blank area and Drag	Drags a selection box. Objects inside the selection box are selected, and anything completely outside the selection box becomes unselected.
Shift-Left-Click blank area and Drag	Shift-Click blank area and Drag	Drags a selection box and adds objects inside the selection box to the selection set.
Left-Click and Drag on object	Click and Drag on object	Adds object to selction set and moves them.

Zoom Tool

Left-Click	Click	Zoom in
Left-Click blank area and Drag	Click blank area and Drag	Drags a zoom box, letting up on the button zooms to that boundaries of the zoom box.
Alt-Left-Click	n/a	zoom out
Double-Left-Click Zoom Tool Button	Double-Click Zoom Tool Buttonck	Zoom to Extents

Rotate Tool (All objects that are selected when the rotate tool button is activated will be rotated by subsequent mouse actions.)

Left-Click blank area and Drag	Click blank area and Drag	Rotate all the selected objects about the pivot point.

Architecture Tool

Universal Mouse Behavior

The following is true regardless of what mouse mode is active:
