NETWORK CONNECTION PROCEDURESSeptember 8, 2008QUICK NETWORK SETUP FOR MACINTOSH 10.4.11 or later Using a Macintosh computer and a standard ethernet cable, one end plugged into the Galileo ethernet port, the other into the Macintosh ethernet port. System Preferences > Network Select a new Location and label it "Galileo Direct" Galileo Front Panel: System Settings > Network Select "Static" for IP Type Scroll down using the navigation buttons and select: "Write Network Settings" QUICK NETWORK SETUP FOR WINDOWS XP SP2 Using a computer running Windows XP SP2 and a standard ethernet cable, one end plugged into the Galileo ethernet port, the other into the computer's ethernet port. Settings > Network Connections > Local Area Connection > Properties Select Internet Protocol TCP/IP Galileo Front Panel: System Settings > Network Select "Static" for IP Type Scroll down using the navigation buttons and select: "Write Network Settings" COMPASS CONTROL SOFTWARE SETTINGS Galileos Tab Press the "Add Galileo" Button
