MRK-700 Rigging Kit, 700-HP

The 700-HP is designed to be rigged using the professional components included in the MRK-700 rigging kit. This optional rigging kit is available installed at the factory or as a field upgrade. The MRK-700 utilizes rugged rigging bars (shown), AlignaLinks and quick release pins to connect adjacent subwoofers in ground-stack or flown array configurations, as well as to the MTG-700 top grid.

MTG-700 Top Grid, 700-HP

The MTG-700 top grid allows 700-HP subwoofers fitted with the MRK-700 rigging kit to be flown in an array. The MTG-700 can accommodate a variety of different pickup configurations using its six pick-up points. Up to 10 700-HPs may be suspended from the MTG-700 using the corner pick-up points on the grid on a single or multiple rigging points of appropriate rating with a safety factor of 7:1.

MCF-700 Caster Frame, 700-HP

The heavy-duty MCF-700 caster frame is highly durable and easy to attach to a 700-HP ultrahigh-power subwoofer. When you’re deploying and striking a 700-HP array, the MCF-700 frame can support the weight of the array, making it easy to assemble or disassemble. The MCF-700 also supports up to three 700-HP subwoofers in a ground-stack configuration. The MCF-700’s rugged steel frame allows the use of a forklift. A range of protective transport covers is available.

MRF-600 Rigging Kit, 600-HP

The 600-HP is designed to be rigged directly to MICA or the MG-MICA grid using the professional components included in the MRF-600 rigging kit. This optional rigging kit is available installed at the factory or as a field upgrade. The MRF-600 kit utilizes a rugged rigging frame, GuideALinks and quick release pins to connect the 600-HP to other 600-HP subwoofers, to MICA loudspeakers, or to the MG-MICA grid.

MG-MICA Multipurpose Grid/MICA/600-HP

The MG-MICA multipurpose grid accommodates flown or ground stack configurations for MICA compact high-power curvilinear array loudspeakers and 600-HP compact high-power subwoofers (with optional MRK-600 rigging kit). The MG-MICA allows multiple rigging points. In addition with the use of the MGCP-MICA a single rigging point can be achieved. Up to 22 MICA loudspeakers (or the equivalent weight of any combination of MICA and 600-HP cabinets) can be flown from the MG-MICA grid at a 7:1 safety factor, or 25 MICA loudspeakers at a 5:1 safety factor. Certain restrictions apply, and this rating depends on grid angle and the array’s center of gravity, which can be determined using MAPP Online Pro’s rigging calculator.

MCF-MICA Caster Frame, MICA/600-HP

The MCF-MICA caster frame allows up to four MICA cabinets or three 600-HP cabinets (with optional MRK-600 rigging kit) to be transported fully rigged, and is dimensioned to provide tight packing in both U.S. and European truck widths. To make MICA entirely road-ready, durable nylon covers for up to four cabinets are also available.

MRF-6 Rigging Frame, MSL-6/MSL-5/PSW-6

The MRF-6 allows Meyer Sound Type 6 (MSL-6, MSL-5 and PSW-6) loudspeakers to easily be arrayed. Two frames are recommended per cabinet. Transition between Type 6 and Type 4 (MSL-4 and DS-4P) loudspeakers fitted with L-Track or with the RFK-1 retrofit frame kit can easily be achieved utilizing SMCC-007 or SMCC-009 swiveling multi-link connecting chains.

MRFCB-6 Connecting Bar Kit, MSL-6/MSL-5/PSW-6

The MRFCB-6 consists of two rear and two front connecting bars along with all necessary pins for joining two MRF-6 frames together vertically. The front connecting bars provide for vertical splay adjustments from 0° to 10° in 2° increments.

MRFSB-1 Spacer Bar, MSL-6/MSL-5/PSW-6

MRFSB-1 is fitted between two MRF-6 rigging frames when attaching the frames to carpeted Type 6 loudspeaker systems. MRFS-1 compensates for the extra width of the carpeted versions.

MTG-4 Top Grid, MSL-4/DS-4P

The MTG-4 is used for arraying Type 4 (MSL-4 and DS-4P) loudspeakers fitted with L-Track or with the RFK-1 retrofit frame kit. The frame’s retractable arms are adjustable, even while the system is under load. Loudspeakers can be arrayed at horizontal angles of 15, 18.75, 22.5, 26.25 and 30-degree splay angles.

MTGSB-4B Top Grid Spreader Bar, MSL-4/DS-4P

Used to suspend two MTG-4 top grids from a single motor point. Includes all necessary shackles and connecting links. Six pick up points are provided at each end of the bar to allow the adjustment of spread between vertical columns. This part replaces the MTGSB-4 spreader bar.

RCL-1 Rear Connection Link

Forms the rear attachment between L-Track equipped cabinets and maintains alignment when applying vertical splay.

MCC Multi-link Connecting Chains

Three lengths of connecting chain are available to suit specific applications. MCC-007 is used in a similar manner to the SLC-1 in that it connects the uppermost L-Track-equipped loudspeaker in a vertical column to an MTG-4. Its extra length allows flexibility in attachment. The MCC-009 provides between 0° and 19° of vertical splay. The MCC-015 provides between 0° and 26° of vertical splay.

SMCC Swiveling Multi-link Connecting Chains

Two lengths of connecting chain incorporating a swiveling connector are available to suit specific applications, particularly those that require a transition from MRF-6 to Type 4 (MSL-4 and DS-4P) loudspeakers fitted with L-Track or with the RFK-1 retrofit frame. The SMCC-007 provides between 0° and 15.5° of vertical splay. The SMCC-009 provides between 0° and 19° of vertical splay.

SLCC-1 Single Link Connection Chain

Used to attach the uppermost loudspeaker in a vertical column to an MTG-4.

RFK-1 Retrofit Frame Kit, MSL-4/DS-4P/DS-2P/PSW-2

The RFK-1 retrofit frame kit contains two aluminum frames, necessary cables and L-Track fittings. It is used to integrate non L-Track-equipped MSL-4, DS-4P, DS-2P and PSW-2 loudspeakers into a QuickFly rigging system. Specify exact loudspeaker type when ordering.
