SIM® Wins Mix Magazine's TEC Award

The Technical Excellence and Creativity (TEC) Awards were created in 1985 by the publishers of Mix magazine to recognize and promote outstanding achievement in recording, sound production and technology. A nominating panel comprised of approximately 150 prominent members of the professional audio industry make the initial selections which are then published in Mix and voted on by the readers of Mix.

In 1986, Mix readers recognized Meyer Sound Laboratories by awarding the SIM system with TEC Award.

SIM® System II Receives the Prestigious R&D 100 Award

Since 1963, R&D Magazine has honored innovators by selecting the 100 most technologically significant products of the past year. R&D 100 entries are judged by the editors of R&D magazine and a panel of experts from various universities and scientific labs including MIT, NASA Lewis Research Center, Lawrence Livermore Labs and Ames Lab.

In 1992, on the 30th anniversary of the R&D awards, Meyer Sound Laboratories received an award for the SIM System II acoustic test and measurement system.
