Subwoofer Integration
The UPJ-Junior provides full-bandwidth frequency response down to 65 Hz, but Meyer Sound subwoofers can extend the frequency response of a UPJunior system down as low as 25 Hz for applications requiring more low-frequency energy. UPJunior loudspeakers and subwoofers can be easily daisy-chained using the loop feature on the user panel. The individual loudspeakers will utilize their internal crossovers to appropriately divide the full-range signal.

The UMS-1P and M1D-Sub ultracompact subwoofers make excellent companions to UPJunior in smaller systems. The UMS-1P's built in pole mount makes it easy to create a simple system with a single UPJunior. For systems needing greater amounts of low-frequency support, the USW-1P compact subwoofer is an ideal choice. In clubs and other environments with intense low-frequency demands, UPJunior can be supplemented with the 600-HP compact high-power subwoofer.
For most applications, a ratio of two UPJunior loudspeakers to each subwoofer will yield effective, balanced results in frequency response and headroom. The ideal ratio of UPJunior loudspeakers to subwoofers depends on the configuration of the system, the application, and the frequency content of the signal being reproduced.
Meyer Sound's Galileo loudspeaker management system provides extensive processing and system drive capabilities for driving a UPJunior system, with or without subwoofers, or for properly conditioning and driving UPJunior cabinets in larger systems.
